Cocktail Preparation:
0.7 oz/ 20 ml Base + 6.8 oz/ 200 ml Pineapple Juice, shake well with Ice Cubes and strain into a Glass filled with fresh Ice, garnish with fresh Fruit and serve.
Cocktail History
A favorite drink of Caribbean cruisers is the Piña Colada. It was invented in 1954 by Ramon "Monchito" Marrero, a bartender at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The non-alcoholic version of the Piña Colada is the Coconut Kiss or also so called Virgin Colada which is a smoothy and very refreshing Coconut Drink. Since the late 80´s of the last century the Coconut Kiss became very popular in the USA and Western Europe as the non-alcoholic option of the famous Piña Colada.
